I started drawing when I was really young. Black-and-white graphite pencil was all I really liked. When I was in 5th grade, I was introduced to Photoshop and I fell in love with digital painting. I've never lost my love for pencil drawing/sketching, and all my works initially starts out in pencil.

While I was at MSU Moorhead for school, I worked for the school's IT Department and through that experience, I have become proficient in HTML, CSS, PHP/SQL, JavaScript, and Flash (including ActionScript). I also do regular design work in Photoshop and Illustrator. I've done everything from designing logos, creating full-fledged web applications, to designing the look of whole websites.

I also study Japanese and have spent a year studying abroad in Japan. I consider myself fluent in daily conversation, and I have passed the JLPT Level 2.
